East TN Fly Update!!!
Hello fishermen. Hope everyone’s doing well and finding time to get out on the water! Over in East TN, we’re shifting from caddis to sulphur season. Still seeing some tan and olive caddis hatches midday, but black caddis is basically done. Sulphurs are coming on strong and have been plentiful in the evenings, weather permitting! The nymph bite has been steady, and the dry fly fishing has been fantastic. Summer dates are filling fast, so grab one for June or July now! 828 318

Winter 2026 Fishing Report
The fishing has been good on the tail waters in East TN. Post spawn action is producing great days streamer and nymph fishing! There have also been some great dry fly days on midges and blue winged olives! The boat traffic and angler pressure is way down compared to what it will be in the Spring and Summer. There have been a lot of quality fish coming to the net. The float trips in NC have been amazing. Very low boat traffic and very high fish counts. Streamer, nymph, a
