Smallmouth bass fishing trips have kicked off on the French Broad River in the Asheville area, and we’ve got at least two specialists ready to go. WNC delayed harvest waters are stocked. The fishing has been good on the tail waters in East TN. Post spawn action is producing great days streamer and nymph fishing! There have also been some great dry fly days on midges and blue winged olives! The boat traffic and angler pressure is way down compared to what it will be in the Spring and Summer.
