It's March 15 and the fishing is fantastic. We've gotten a lot of rain, and the rivers are full of trout and water. Lakes are rising as well. Along with the warmer weather we are seeing some good bugs hatching on the water. Be on the watch for Caddis, BWO, Quill Gordons, and midges. TN floats on both Watauga and South Holston have been rewarding. Wade and float trips in NC have been amazing and GA private water trips are out of this world, but will only be available till June 1st!
We've had many happy clients this week. We also had the chance to get on the water with Robert Greer of Town Mountain! This is the second year he has participated in the "Fishing With A Musician" program which supports the non-profit CAND AID. Below are links to Town Mountain's music and info on CAND AID! Check 'em out!
This month's free fly event will be a burning blush brewery. Things will be a little different. The firs hour we have stations to learn and practice new knots. The second hour will be an open ty. Bring your own vise and materials. Don't worry if you don't have anything you can still come to learn and participate.
We have a full team of professional guides ready to help you hit your fishing goals. From learning a new technique to being guided on a new piece of water you've never experienced, we are here for you. Give us a call today to book your next adventure. Large groups and multi boat trips are available. We also do lodging and meals all-inclusive trips to TN and GA!
We'll leave you with a few more picks from this week and see you out there! Remember nymphing ain't easy!
