Winter 2026 Fishing Report

The fishing has been good on the tail waters in East TN. Post spawn action is producing great days streamer and nymph fishing! There have also been some great dry fly days on midges and blue winged olives! The boat traffic and angler pressure is way down compared to what it will be in the Spring and Summer. There have been a lot of quality fish coming to the net.

The float trips in NC have been amazing. Very low boat traffic and very high fish counts. Streamer, nymph, and dry fly fishing has been excellent! They're eating everything. The private water experiences in GA are doing well, and the river has benefited from the recent rains!

Spring dates are filling up so call now to book a Winter of Spring adventure. Spring on the Watauga and South Holston is epic! Caddis hatches and sulphurs will be here before we know it!
