Fishing Report - 2/21/22 Tuckasegee

Day off and fish on! Some of the Beast Coast Anglers got out for a few hours on the Tuckasegee River this afternoon. Temps were mild and the clouds were out. Last year's stocked fish are fattening up and there are some nice hold overs to be found as well.

Egg patterns and frenchies were productive. Tyler who is also an avid small mouth bass fisherman and guide had a very productive strategy. Tyler was consistently wacking fatties by dead drifting unscented swim baits! It was very effective in swift riffles as well as slower deep pools! Way to go T! Don't be afraid to switch it up or try something new if fish aren't responding! Keep On Fishin' On!
