FALL FISHING, TN FLOATS, IDAHO, WNC DELAYED HARVEST - fishing report

Happy Autumn Equinox from the Beast Coast team! Fishing has been fire and it's only gonna get better with the cool Fall temps. Part of the team just returned from Idaho and fishing some great water out there for cutthroat, cutbows, rainbows, and browns! This is gonna be an annual event. It's like Heaven on earth for fly fisherman. We will be working with partner outfitters next year to make this experience available to our clients. TN floats are still running daily. The South Holston and Watauga are both producing. There was an excellent sulphur hatch yesterday on the Soho. I'm guessing it was this Indian Summer we are experiencing, though I think yesterday was the last hot day hopefully. The hot flies for us have been stoneflys, midges, soft hackles, and scudds below. Sulphurs were on yesterday and "slinging meat" or streamers always producing big fish!

WNC delayed harvest water open Oct 1st. We have a full team of professional guides ready to help you reach your wade and float fishing trout goals. Give us a ca

ll today to set up your next adventure. Below is what you need to know to get out and do it on your own as well. It's our goal to teach enough in a half day that you will be able to go out and fish on your own!

The smallmouth bass fishing is excellent right now. We have not had much rain lately so the rivers are low and clear which is very conducive to getting on some Hawg Smallies! Definitely give us a ring if you want to setup a smallmouth float of conventional or fly tackle!

We are super excited to announce that the private water we work on is opening next week! This is a once in a lifetime experience for most of our clients. Grilled lunch and monster trout! These fish are healthy and fight hard! The fall spots are almost full but these waters fish great all winter long so give us a call asap if interested!

That's all for now! Good luck out there!
