This weekend’s guided trips in North Georgia were bangers! The world famous Soquee River is one of the best fisheries in the world. The weather Gods were smiling down on us this past Saturday. Rain earlier in the week put just enough stain on the water to hide the tippet. Afternoon temps were mid 50’s and partly cloudy!
The bite was consistent all day! The hot flies were spaghetti & meatballs (worm egg), frenchies, and the good ole black stonefly! Fish count was high as was the quality of the fish. These trout are amazingly beautiful creatures!
Along with the catching & fellowship lunch was one of the highlights of the day! Ribeye, Tuna Steaks, and campfire cooked veggies! WOW what a perfect day by the river!
